Join SheADV Trainers Roundtable participant B.J. Hessler—founder and lead coach of DC Dirt Camp—for Intro to Adventure Riding training. This class is for students who have a “big bike” but are not comfortable taking it off-road (yet). Clutch Capable Level 3 Dirt Bike class is strongly suggested before this class. Drop one of our little dirt bikes, so you never drop your big bike! Adventure bikes or dual-sport bikes are welcome.

Intro to Adventure Riding with B.J. Hessler

Event Overview:
The objectives of this class are for each student to learn the fundamentals of throttle control and clutch finesse to keep their heavy bike "in balance." Additional skills include shifting while standing, negotiating tight turns with counterbalancing, and mastering off-camber terrain, all off tarmac.
